To use the smart app-connected features of the SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect, you will also need a Sure Petcare Hub, sold separately.
The Hub connects the Pet Door Connect to your internet router and the Sure Petcare app, allowing you to remotely lock or unlock the door, set access times, receive notifications and monitor your pet’s activity.
Without the Hub, the door can still operate as a microchip-controlled pet door, but the app-connected features will not be available.
Please check the measurements carefully before purchasing and before cutting or modifying your door, wall or glass.
The 178mm × 170mm flap opening is the smallest area your pet will need to pass through.
The Microchip Pet Door Connect is designed for large cats and small dogs. We recommend checking your pet’s measurements before purchasing.

SureFlap Pet Door Mounting Adaptor
Designed to assist with installing the Microchip Pet Door Connect into glass, windows and selected installation locations.
For glass installations, the Pet Door Mounting Adaptor is required. A circular opening is needed.
SureFlap Pet Door Tunnel Extender
Designed for wall installations where the existing 70mm tunnel is not long enough.
Each Tunnel Extender adds 50mm to the tunnel length, and multiple extenders can be used together to accommodate thicker walls.
SureFlap RFID Collar Tags – 2 Pack
If your pet is not microchipped, a SureFlap RFID Collar Tag can be used instead.
Required to connect the Microchip Pet Door Connect to the Sure Petcare app.
The Hub acts as the link between your Connect products, internet router and Sure Petcare app.
The SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect works with all common identification microchips.
If your pet isn’t microchipped, you can use a SureFlap RFID Collar Tag instead.
The door can store up to 32 pet identities, making it suitable for multi-pet households.
The SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect requires 4 × C batteries.

The product arrived in super quick time and was about $100 cheaper than on other websites.
It has been installed in the back door and is a big hit with my 2 cats. I bought a larger door for them as one is very timid and doesn’t easily adapt to new things in her environment. With some (firm) coaxing from me, she has learned to go in & out by herself in just a few days :o) This will make a big difference for them!
