Feliway is an easy-to-use convenient product line, it creates a state of comfort and well-being and prevents feline stress related behaviours such as scratching and spraying.
PHEROMONE SUPPORT
When cats feel happy in their environment, they will mark the area by rubbing their face against objects. When they do this they are leaving behind a facial pheromone which tells them the area is safe and familiar. Feliway is a synthetic copy of the pheromone and is scientifically proven to help prevent or reduce stress-related behaviours and help cats adjust to their environment in a natural way, without the use of medicines or the need for administration of tablets.
FELIWAY DIFFUSER is designed to be plugged into an electrical socket, and switched on continuously in the room most used by the cat, or in an area where inappropriate behaviour is occurring.
The diffuser covers an area of 50-70m2 it keeps cats comforted and relaxed for up to 30 days. At which time you simply purchase a Feliway refill.
The diffuser works best when in an open environment, ie not under shelves, behind doors, curtains or furniture.
FELIWAY SPRAY is great for mobile situations and spraying the cat carrier before use. It is also designed to help prevent issues like scratching and spraying around the home.
Simply shake the bottle and spray Feliway on doorways, cat-flaps, window sills and prominent objects around the house.
To prevent marking if it has already occurred, spray Feliway on marked areas after thorough cleaning of the area(s).

Feliway diffuser
I rescued 2 kitty's a year ago and they were completely wild. They would only come out to eat and play with each other if I wasn't in the room,. They were about 8 weeks old. After a couple of months the female began to be friendly and I was able to take her to the vets for her op when she was due. The male is a completely different story. Although he would be friendly, playful, eat from your hand, he's never allowed us to touch him. We haven't been able to pat him for a whole year. I tried another type of plug in, that is based on things like catnip and valerian but it didn't do anything. So I tried the feliway. After a couple of weeks, he was on the windowsill and I started to pat him, he tensed up like he was thinking ew human touch.. But he didn't run away. Over the next few weeks he's just got better and better. He jumps on the bed and gets brushed and pats and now his tail has started to go up, like a cranky gear shift that's never been used. I heard a few crackles like a purr is trying to start, but he's such a different cat. He's a year old now and finally he's relaxed and enjoying getting groomed and pats. I wish I'd tried this sooner. I will wait to take him for his op as I don't want to ruin his trust , but I will get the feliway spray for his cage when I do take him. I totally recommend this product, especially if you have nervous rescues, adopted cats. Or just stressed or anxious cats. It's night and day to how he is now. Just give it time, it took about 2 weeks to see the first change and now it's just over a month. It's still plugged in and I might continue to use it for a few more months . See how he goes. I definitely recommend this product. ?
