Aktivait Capsules for Dogs is the first supplement to combine all nutrients necessary for sustaining optimum brain function during the ageing process.

As your dog grows older the brain can become damaged by free radicals which can cause biological and physical damage to the brain tissue.

This can lead to behavioural changes such as

  • Disorientation
  • Depression, apathy, sleeping more
  • Loss of house training
  • Irregular sleep patterns – barking at night
  • Reduced/altered social interaction

Aktivait could, therefore, make a big difference to the quality of life of your older dog.

This pack contains 60 capsules. Normally given at 1 capsule daily for 10-20kg and 2 capsules daily for 20kg+, capsules can be opened and sprinkled into food

How Aktivait for Dogs can help:

  • Contains antioxidants – Vitamins C, E , Selenium, co-enzyme Q10 and N-acetyl Cysteine
  • Contains compounds necessary for optimum brain function – Carinitine, phosphatidylserine and Omega fatty acids DHA and EPA
  • Helps prevent free radical damage and improves electrical transmission between nerve cells
  • Can be used from middle age onward or as soon as signs develop

Other things you can do to assist reducing the effects of brain ageing for your cat:

  • Keep your dog fit and active and a healthy weight by feeding an appropriate high quality diet
  • Mentally stimulate your older dog by engaging them in play , or take them for multiple short walks per day instead of one long one
  • Daily attention, practice basic commands, games and help with grooming
  • Keep routines as consistent as possible and avoid major environmental changes
  • Use visual and loud commands as hearing deteriorates with age
  • Take outside for toilet stops more frequently if house-soiling has started – never punish them if they do have a toileting accident indoors
