Aktivait Capsules for Cats is the first supplement to combine all nutrients necessary for sustaining optimum brain function during the ageing process.

As cats grow older the brain can become damaged by free radicals which can cause biological and physical damage to the brain tissue.

This can lead to behavioural changes such as

  • Disorientation
  • Depression, apathy, sleeping more
  • Inappropriate vocalisation
  • Loss of litter box/ house training
  • Irregular sleep patterns
  • Reduced/altered social interaction

Aktivait could, therefore, make a big difference to the quality of life of your older cat.

This pack contains 60 capsules. Normally given at 1 capsule per day per cat, capsules can be opened and sprinkled onto food

How Aktivait for Cats can help:

  • Contains antioxidants – Vitamins C, E , Selenium, co-enzyme Q10 and N-acetyl Cysteine
  • Contains compounds necessary for optimum brain function – Carinitine, phosphatidylserine and Omega fatty acids DHA and EPA
  • Helps prevent free radical damage and improves electrical transmission between nerve cells
  • Can be used from middle age onward or as soon as signs develop

Other things you can do to assist reducing the effects of brain ageing for your cat:

  • Keep your cat fit and active and a healthy weight by feeding an appropriate high quality diet
  • Mentally stimulate your older cat by engaging them in play – feather toys, lasers etc
  • Daily attention and help with grooming
  • Make sure litter trays are easy to access – ie if arthritic minimise need for use of stairs to access their litter tray
  • Keep routines as consistent as possible and avoid major environmental changes
