Description
Bravecto is available as a spot-on flea and tick treatment for dogs – providing 6 months protection and 4 months tick protection.
The brand new Bravecto Spot-on for Large dogs providing 6 months protection against fleas and 4 months against ticks in a single dose
Once Bravecto spot-on is administered, it is readily absorbed into the dog’s blood stream from the skin. The active ingredient, fluralaner, then distributes and persists for 6 months. It works inside the dog providing nose-to-toes protection.
Due to its systemic profile, Bravecto is suitable for dogs who swim or are bathed regularly. It is recommended dogs are not washed or shampooed within 3 days of treatment.

Indications
For the control of flea and tick infestations on dogs for
- Immediate and persistent flea killing activity for 6 months, and
- Immediate and persistent tick killing activity for 4 months
- Treatment and control of Otodecectes and Saracoptes mites
- Safe for use in MDR1 breeds, breeding, pregnant and lactacting dogs
- Controls immature stages of fleas and immature tick stages
- Part of a treatment strategy for the control of flea allergy dermatitis
- Highly effective against fipronil resistant fleas
- Indirectly reduces tapeworm infection
Active Ingredients
Bravecto contains fluralaner.
Dosage
Bravecto spot-on solution should be administered in accordance with the following (corresponding to a dose of 40 – 94 mg fluralaner/kg body weight):
Bodyweight (kg) of dog
Very Small (2* – 4.5kgs) Bravecto 112.5 mg
Small (> 4.5 – 10kgs) Bravecto 250 mg
Medium (> 10 – 20kgs) Bravecto 500 mg
Large (> 20 – 40kgs) Bravecto 1000 mg
Very Large (> 40 – 56kgs) Bravecto 1400 mg
*For use in dogs from 8 weeks of age and over 2kg.
For optimal control of flea infestation, the Bravecto spot-on should be administered at 6 monthly intervals. Bravecto spot-on can be administered all year round.

Fleas dead in 24 hours
After trying all the usual flea treatments I finally found one that has worked ! With seven dogs and a cat in the house the fleas have been really bad in the last 6 months I have treated them all monthly to no avail So I bit the bullet and paid the price for Bravecto six month treatment Wow it worked straight away and within 24 hours all the dogs had stopped scratching and dead fleas were evident I’ve also treated the entire house bathed all the dogs and have marked in my calendar when the next batch is due in six months time This really works , I’m impressed
