Bravecto packaging is designed to be child safe. The tube has a twist-n-use cap and is enclosed in a child-resistant sachet. Twist the cap to break the seal and open the tube. Squeeze the tube and product will come out from the centre of the cap. The cap does not come off.
Apply spot-on to the skin at the base of the cat’s head, ensuring the solution cannot be licked off.
Apply in 1 spot for cats 1.2 kg – 6.25 kg, and 2 spots for cats over 6.25 kg.

Having the worming combined with the flea treatment is convenient and safer for my hands. My cats won’t take a worming pill even when crushed in their favourite food! Like all spot on type treatments it does leave a strong smelling oily substance on their fur, but after 24 hours I just use a few drops of dish washing liquid and some water to massage in and then rinse off with water which they mostly tolerate.

I’m still searching for the perfect flea treatment, one that cats will consume happily on their food would be best – my cats and I HATE topicals and pills. Vets recommend Bravecto and besides applying it (which in reality requires 6 hands which I don’t have!) we’ve had no issues with the product and it seems to work well. And it doesn’t have a horrible strong chemical smell, although apparently my cats wouldn’t agree – their squinting and recoiling at the sight of the box says otherwise!

I have tried a few different products for my 2 boys, this would have to be one of the most convenient being a 2 in 1. As I can’t get tablets down 1 of my boys without losing a finger or needing medical attention as he just refuses, even the vet has trouble. I have found with some flea & worm products applied to the fur the same cat reacts like he has been burnt, but he appears ok with this one.

My experience with Bravecto PLUS Flea & Worm for Cats has been absolutely terrible. Instead of providing relief, it seems to have made the flea situation worse. My indoor cat, who **doesn’t go outside at all**, is scratching incessantly, even more than before I used the product. What’s even more alarming is that I’ve found a bloody wound on his neck. This is beyond unacceptable, and I am deeply upset by this result.

My cat hates it! I love it! And I love the fact that it’s 3-monthly application, which means I only have to wrestle my cat 4 times a year and be on no-speaking terms only that many days a year ??
It doesn’t smell immediately, so she doesn’t see it coming. I don’t have to unscrew the top, so once popped it stays put until I’m ready to pounce. The only thing to be aware of, is not to get it on your fingers. It’s really sticky. Works for worms and fleas which is perfect to keep my feline queen healthy and my house free of fleas.
